Scott Sydelnik is a partner in the firms Commercial Real Estate Practice Group, focusing his practice on in the areas of real estate development and mortgage lending. He has represented buyers, sellers, and lenders in residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout New York State. Mr. Sydelnik has also represented debtors and creditors in the Western, Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Mr. Sydelnik is additionally the Co-Chair of the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committee of the Real Property Law Section (RPLS) of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) where he advises on the direction of CLE's pertaining to real property law on a State wide basis. Mr. Sydelnik is also frequent lecturer for the Monroe County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association, on a wide range of real estate and bankruptcy topics, including residential real estate, mortgage foreclosure and workouts, and landlord tenant matters.
Mr. Sydelnik has also successfully handled several municipal matters on behalf of major developers in New York State, including: annexations, road detection, utility easements, use variances, area variances, tax assessments, code violations and zoning change applications.

Mr. Sydelnik also takes an active role in charitable work in the Rochester Community as a proud member of the Board of Directors of Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity Inc., where he is an active director and prior Chair of the Executive Committee. Mr. Sydelnik has been recognized for his charitable efforts with Habitat- having received the President's "Hammer" Award and the Roger and Barbara Cross Leadership Award in consecutive years. Mr. Sydelnik also served on the State-wide advisory board for New York State Habitat for Humanity for Five years.
In addition, Mr. Sydelnik previously was a member of the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society, serving as the prior Chair and former Vice Chair for the Rochester region and a member of the Upstate New York Board of Advisers.
