SCOTT A. SYDELNIK
Scott Sydelnik is a partner in the firm’s default servicing department, focusing on foreclosure and creditors’ rights in bankruptcy. Mr. Sydelnik has experience counseling clients in the areas of real estate and mortgage lending.
Prior to joining Davidson Fink LLP, Mr Sydelnik practiced residential and commercial real estate, mortgage lending, and bankruptcy with a law firm in Rochester. He has represented buyers, sellers, and lenders in real estate transactions throughout New York State. Mr Sydelnik has also represented debtors and creditors in the Western, Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of the United States Bankruptcy Court, and serves as the District Representative for the 7th District of the Executive Committee of New York State Bar Association Real Property Section.
In addition, Mr Sydelnik has served as an editor for Thompson Reuters and has lectured on the topics of real estate and bankruptcy for the New York State Bar Association and the National Business Institute. He most recently spoke at and served as the local and upstate chair for the NYSBA’s Practical Skills Series on Purchase and Sales of Real Estate.
Mr. Sydelnik also takes an active role in charitable work in the Rochester Community with the American Cancer Society, serving on the executive planning committee in 2012 and as the Chair of the 2013 Celebrate Hope Gala.
