Attorney Profiles

Michael Burger, a partner of the firm, maintains a litigation practice in New York State and Federal Courts. A trial lawyer by training, Mr. Burger handles commercial disputes, breaches of fiduciary duty and estate matters. His clients include lenders, businesses, property owners, partnerships, closely-held corporations, and limited liability companies. Mr. Burger has also assisted clients who have been victims of self-dealing, power of attorney abuse and other breaches of fiduciary duty such as the mishandling of an estate, trust, or business. As a compliment to his litigation practice, Mr. Burger also assists clients with their own estate planning. A portion of Mr. Burger’s practice is focused on criminal defense and civil rights matters.
