Attorney Profiles

Laurie A. Donofrio is a senior associate attorney with the firm's litigation department. Ms.Donofrio focuses her practice on personal injury litigation, including automobile negligence cases and medical malpractice litigation. Prior to concentrating her practice on plaintiff's personal injury work, Ms.Donofrio handled a variety of insurance defense litigation which afforded her an insider's perspective into the policy and decision making process of a national liability carrier. Her background also includes commercial litigation and education law with an emphasis on representing students with disabilities.

Ms.Donofrio is a compassionate litigator dedicated to understanding her clients' current and future needs. Her extensive experience in representing injured individuals combined with her Masters Degree in Developmental Psychology has provided her a unique insight into understanding the daily trials of those who have suffered catastrophic, disabling injuries. She has a demonstrated ability to connect with clients and achieve desirable results which have aided her clients and their families in coping with the effects of their injuries and in preparing for and managing life after their matter has concluded.

Ms.Donofrio also practices collaborative matrimonial law, a powerfully effective, needs-based approach to resolving the complex and emotionally charged issues confronting divorcing couples and their children. Through this client-centered approach, Ms.Donofrio has effectively assisted divorcing parties negotiate comprehensive separation and divorce agreements with dignity and integrity in a creative and civilized manner.
